Guests with Special Needs & Disabilities
Rogers Arena has a unique building design which allows full access for guests with special needs and disabilities including an entrance designed for easy access into and out of the building to parking and transportation.
Pay phones and bank machines have been lowered for people in wheelchairs and scooters and drink holders have been added to all accessible seating areas.
Our Guest Services Staff all receive special training to ensure they are able to accommodate everyone equally so that every guest's experience is a comfortable and enjoyable one.
BC Rehab Foundation Standing Ovation Award:
In 2006, Rogers Arena was awarded the BC Rehab Foundation Standing Ovation Award in the Recreation category.
This award celebrates and acknowledges the outstanding contribution of Canadian companies who have gone “the extra mile” for people living with physical disabilities.
CONCESSIONS & GIFTS
Lowered counters provide for easy access at concession stands throughout the venue. Our Canucks Team Store is wheelchair accessible and is located on the Plaza Level at section 114. Accessible souvenir stands are also conveniently located throughout the concourses.
ENTRANCES & ELEVATORS

All entrances at Rogers Arena are accessible, however, the most convenient entrance for guests using a wheelchair is our drop off and pick up area on the east side of the building at Gate 16 off of Abbott Street. Elevators are conveniently located at Gate 16 as well as Gates 1, 9 and 10. The Georgia street and Dunsmuir street walkways connect Rogers Arena to Beatty Street providing our Balcony seating on Level 300.
For those with non-visible disabilities, it may be possible to obtain a special assistance identification card allowing guests easier access to their seats.
FACILITIES
All restrooms at Rogers Arena are wheelchair accessible. In addition, accessible family washrooms are located on the Plaza Level at sections 103 and 109 and on the Balcony Level at section 319.
Baby change tables are located in all men's and women's washrooms.
Drinking fountains are located throughout Rogers Arena and are wheelchair accessible.
GUEST SERVICES CENTRES
Guest Service Centres are located on the Plaza Level Section at 114 and the Balcony Level at Section 310. Our staff are pleased to respond to all guest enquiries and suggestions.
Services provided include the following: reuniting lost patrons; transportation information; emergency assistance; booster chairs, hearing assistive devices; ticket enquiries; collecting and returning lost and found items; storing wheelchairs/strollers and registering guests in case of emergency "Guest Finder."
Assistive listening devices and children's booster chairs are available free of charge at the Guest Service Centres. A credit card or photo identification is required as a deposit for use of these items.

HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICES
Assistive listening devices are available only during hockey games. While sitting in their seats, a visually impaired or hearing impaired fan may listen to the play by play announcements on Team 1040 (88.5 FM). Arrangements may be made ahead of time for a specific hockey game. Please call 604.899.7440.
SERVICE ANIMALS
All service animals are welcomed at Rogers Arena. Carpets are available for service animals at the Guest Service Centres. Please notify your ticket seller at time of purchase if an aisle seat is required for your service animal.
TELEPHONES
All public telephones are wheelchair accessible and equipped with volume controls. TTY (Teletype) phones are also available at sections 112 on the Plaza level and section 312 on the Balcony level.
TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets may be purchased for events at Rogers Arena through Ticketmaster. A Ticketmaster box office is located next to Gate 10 and is equipped with wheelchair accessible windows.
Wheelchair accessible seating is available on various levels of the arena, depending on the type of event type and building configuration.
Adjacent companion seating may also be purchased, based on availability. All seats for guests with limited mobility have been selected to allow convenient entry and exit.
When purchasing your tickets, please inform your ticket seller of any special needs you may have that require accommodation.
